The 2026 Tahoe and Suburban offer advanced V8 engines and a Duramax turbo-diesel option:

  • 6.2L V8: Standard on High Country; available on RST, Z71, and Premier
  • 3.0L Turbo-Diesel Duramax: Second-generation, with ~10% more horsepower than previous models; available on all trims except LS

All engines come with a 10-speed automatic transmission and column-mounted Electronic Precision Shift.
Note: Only the LS uses the 5.3L as standard.

NEW! KEY CARD

The key card works by tapping it on the location of the
vehicle shown on the back of the key card.
• Tap the key card on the driver side door handle to
unlock the driver door.
• You can start the vehicle for a short period after
unlocking it with your key card.
• Standard with front bucket seats only. Requires OnStar.

HANDS-FREE LIFTGATE

Hands-Free power liftgate with emblem projection
• Opens liftgate when the system senses the key fob
and the driver places their foot under the rear bumper
• Memory height function allows you to program how
high the gate opens to suit you
• You can also press the liftgate open button on the key
fob or use the exterior release button

MAGNETIC RIDE CONTROL

Uses sensors to continually “read” the road and alter the
damping rate of the shocks almost instantly. It reacts much
faster than computer-controlled shock absorbers to reduce
vertical body motion, body roll and vibrations that can often
resonate in a large SUV. Standard on Premier and High
Country. Available on RST and Z71.

REAR STORAGE

Compared with previous generation the Suburban features substantially
more usable space. With a 125 mm (4.9-in) longer wheelbase and a
169 mm (6.7-in) increase in overall length compared to the previous
generation, Tahoe offers 40 per cent more third-row legroom and 66
per cent greater cargo volume behind the third row. The space gain is
achieved efficiently; while maximum cargo room increases 30 per cent.

adjusting multiple subsystems simultaneously.
