2.7 Turbomax

All 2026 Colorados are powered by a turbocharged 2.7L TurboMax (L3B) inline four-cylinder engine producing 310 hp and 430 lb-ft of torque, with a maximum trailering capacity of 7,700 lbs. This represents an 18% increase in horsepower and a 36% increase in torque over the previous base engine.

Performance and durability are enhanced through a more rigid cylinder block, a 30% stiffer crankshaft, and a fully forged bottom end. The inline-four layout allows optimal turbo placement, while the integrated exhaust manifold and dual-volute turbo improve throttle response and boost performance.

on ZR2 only) offer robust performance by
offering control and comfort on-road, and robust
performance for extended off-road adventures.
