KEY FEATURES
Powertrain
The 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV uses GM’s Ultium battery technology, offering an estimated range of up to 640 km. Its advanced battery pack features large-format cells for maximum efficiency.
The RST First Edition delivers 660 hp and 780 lb-ft of torque, reaching 0–96 km/h in under 4.5 seconds, while the Work Truck (WT) trim offers 510 hp and 615 lb-ft. With DC fast chargers up to 350 kW, the Silverado EV can gain 160 km of range in just 10 minutes, combining powerful performance with electric efficiency.
Utility
The Chevrolet Silverado EV features the industry-first Multi-Flex tailgate with six functions, making loading, hauling, and working easier. It can be used as a standard tailgate, a low-level or second-tier load stop, a workbench, a step into the bed, or drop the inner gate for easier cargo access.
The Silverado EV also includes a Multi-Flex mid-gate, turning the standard 5'11" bed into a 10-foot bed. Its 60/40 split allows long items while keeping space for a rear passenger, offering unmatched flexibility for work or play.
Capability
With instant torque from its electric motors, the Chevrolet Silverado EV delivers impressive towing. The RST trim can tow up to 10,000 lbs with a 1,300 lb payload, while the Work Truck (WT) offers 8,000 lbs towing and 1,200 lb payload, exceeding many conventional pickups.
Chevrolet will also introduce a fleet model rated up to 20,000 lbs, bringing heavy-duty performance to the electric pickup segment. The Silverado EV combines efficiency, power, and capability for both daily driving and demanding work.
Technology
The Chevrolet Silverado EV combines Ultium battery power with advanced technology designed to evolve over time. Inside, it features a 17-inch infotainment screen, an 11-inch driver display, and a head-up display with a 14-inch field of view.
It also introduces Ultifi, GM’s new Linux-based software platform, allowing over-the-air updates to add features, enhance capabilities, and access cloud services—keeping your Silverado EV up to date with the latest tech throughout its life.

AROUND THE SILVERADO EV
WIDE OPEN WATTS (WOW)
With dual electric motors on the front and rear axles, the Chevrolet Silverado EV RST produces over 660 hp and 780 lb-ft of torque in Wide Open Watts (WOW) mode, propelling the truck from 0–96 km/h in under 4.5 seconds.
eTRUNK
Without a traditional engine, the Chevrolet Silverado EV offers extra cargo space, including a lockable, watertight front trunk (frunk) to safely store valuables out of sight.
EFFICIENT DESIGN
The Silverado EV’s front end is engineered to channel air along the body, reducing drag and turbulence. This efficient design helps the truck achieve one of the lowest drag coefficients among full-size production pickups, boosting performance and range.
SPACE FOR ALL
The Chevrolet Silverado EV is available exclusively as a crew cab, with a second row positioned to provide ample legroom—even for passengers over 6 feet tall.
FIXED PANORAMIC ROOF
For the first time, the Silverado offers a fixed panoramic glass roof, bringing natural light into the cabin for a spacious, open feel. The tinted glass also helps filter sunlight, keeping the interior comfortable and protected.
REGEN ON DEMAND, ONE-PEDAL DRIVING
These driver-controlled braking systems convert the Silverado EV’s forward momentum into electricity, helping maximize range. Regen on Demand uses a steering wheel paddle to slow the truck to a complete stop without the brake pedal, while One-Pedal Driving lets the accelerator pedal do the same, giving the driver precise control over speed and deceleration.
SUPER CRUISE
The 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV comes with the latest Super Cruise technology, now featuring automatic lane changing, where the system can detect the optimal time and safely perform a lane change. Super Cruise is available on over 320,000 km of compatible roads across the U.S. and Canada, making hands-free highway driving easier and more convenient than ever.
REAR WHEEL STEERING
The Silverado EV’s 4-wheel steer system improves maneuverability and stability. At low speeds, the rear wheels turn opposite the front wheels, reducing the turning radius for easier parking and tight turns. At higher speeds, the rear wheels turn in the same direction as the front, enhancing stability and handling—especially when towing a trailer.
DIGITAL KEY
With the Bluetooth and Ultra-Wideband-enabled Digital Key, owners can use their smartphone as the key for their Silverado EV. The system detects the phone’s location near the vehicle, enabling passive features like approach lighting, automatic door unlock, and vehicle operation—making access and use seamless and convenient.
CLEAR VISION
The Chevrolet Silverado EV features a 17-inch diagonal infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, and built-in “Hey Google” services. The 11-inch driver display can be paired with a head-up display offering a field of view over 14 inches, keeping key information visible while driving.

FAQ
Towing Capacity: 10,000 pounds. 2025 Silverado EV in a few words: An exceptional electric truck with great range, terrific driving characteristics, and some very cool features not found on the competition.
A 2026 Chevrolet Silverado EV Max Range Work Truck which is EPA-estimated for up to 4931 miles, just made history by going 1,059.2 miles on a full charge during a range test executed by the GM engineering team.
The Silverado EV can also tow more – up to 12,500 pounds versus the Ford's 10,000-pound max. The F-150 Lightning has a higher maximum payload of more than 2,000 pounds (versus 1,800 pounds on the Chevy), but that's partly because it's available with a smaller battery with less range than any Silverado.
The NACS DC adapter is the key to Silverado EV Tesla charger compatibility. It lets your Silverado EV plug into Tesla Superchargers for fast, convenient charging. The adapter is simple to use and works with all approved GM EVs. While designs may look different, every adapter meets GM's compatibility standards.
Able to hold an amazing amount of energy, the innovative battery in the 2024 Silverado EV First Edition RST gives it superpowers. Not only can it cover great distances on a single charge, but it can also be an incredible source of backup power for your properly equipped home * during a blackout.
