Using Variable Valve Timing and Direct Injection, this engine delivers responsive performance with impressive efficiency, producing 175 horsepower and 184 lb.-ft. of torque on FWD models or 203 lb.-ft. on AWD. All models include engine control and a stop/start system disable switch, along with upper and lower active aero shutters for improved aerodynamics. Transmission options include a CVT on FWD (1LT) and an 8-speed automatic on AWD, with fuel economy rated at 9.2/8.1/8.7 L/100 km (city/highway/combined) for FWD and 9.6/8.1/8.9 L/100 km for AWD.

HEATED WIPER PARK

The Heated Wiper Park automatically warms the bottom of your windshield to help keep it and your wiper blades clear of ice and snow. While it operates automatically, you can also activate it manually using the rear defrost control. The feature shuts off automatically after 15 minutes on the first use during a drive and turns off after approximately 10 minutes with each additional use in the same drive cycle, keeping your windshield clear and your visibility safe in cold conditions.

PACKAGES

The 2026 Chevrolet Equinox offers available packages to enhance comfort, convenience, and safety. Convenience Package II, available on LT and standard on ACTIV and RS, includes an 8-way power driver seat, dual-zone automatic climate control, Rainsense wipers, wireless charging, and a hands-free programmable liftgate.
