AUTOMATIC EMERGENCY BRAKING

When traveling at speeds less than 80 km/h, the system can alert you if it detects that a front-end collision situation is imminent with a vehicle ahead you are following.It can also help reduce the collision’s severity by automatically applying hard, emergency braking if you have not already or by enhancing driver hard braking. The system may even help avoid the collision at very low speeds.

INTELLIBEAM

Automatically turns on and off your vehicle’s high beam headlamps according to surrounding traffic conditions. The automatic high beams will stay on until a sensor detects an approaching vehicle’s headlamps or preceding vehicle’s taillamps.

ACTIVE RESPONSE 4WD

An all-new Active Response 4WD System is available on the Next Generation Yukon. This system is designed to help the driver confidently maneuver in slick or off-road conditions, by seamlessly sending optimal torque to each wheel to help improve traction.

The Next Generation Yukon offers an available suite of safety features and driver assistance technologies designed to deliver greater driver confidence when on the road. These Include:

EXTERIOR DIMENSIONS

With a nearly 5-inch-longer (127 mm) wheelbase and 6.1 inch (155 mm) increase in overall length compared to the 2020 model, it offers 41% more third-row legroom and 66% greater cargo volume behind the third row.

The Yukon XL retains its crown as GMC’s roomiest SUV for both passengers and cargo, benefiting from a 4.1 inch (104 mm) increase in wheelbase. The result is an increase in both passenger and cargo space, with only a fractional change (less than 1%) to Yukon XL’s overall length. Both vehicles now have a lower, flatter cargo-loading floor allowing easier access to cargo space.

PASSIVE ENTRY

The Keyless Access system allows for doors and the liftgate to be accessed without pressing the RKE transmitter button. The RKE transmitter must be within 1m (3 ft ) of the liftgate or door being opened.

CLASS-LEADING 9 CAMERA VIEWS

Drive confidently with up to nine camera views available, including available HD Surround Vision and available Rear Camera Mirror. Working together, these additional views increase visibility when driving the Next Generation Yukon.

All-new available HD Surround Vision gives you a real-time, bird’s-eye-view of the scene around your vehicle. This feature also helps navigate tight spaces when traveling at low speeds.

REAR SEAT REMINDER

When a second-row door is opened and closed during or just before a trip, this feature reminds you, under certain conditions, to check the back seat with five audible chimes and a message in the Driver Information Center.

REAR CAMERA MIRROR

With the flip of a switch the available Rear Camera Mirror transforms your traditional rearview mirror into a wide camera view to give you a wider, less obstructed view behind the vehicle.

15" DIAGONAL HEAD-UP DISPLAY

Keep your eyes on the road with an all-new available 15” diagonal multicolour Head-Up Display that projects navigation1, speed, music, and more onto the windshield. When traveling on the trail, Head-Up Display offers an off-road inclinometer that displays vehicle tilt and grade—keeping the driver in command.

 INFOTAINMENT

Audio system, 10.2” diagonal GMC Infotainment System, includes multi-touch display, AM/FM stereo, includes Bluetooth streaming audio for music and most phones; featuring Android Auto and Apple CarPlay capability for compatible phones. Available with Navigation, Advanced voice recognition, in-vehicle apps, personalized profiles for infotainment and vehicle settings.

WIRELESS APPLE CARPLAY & ANDROID AUTO

No longer do you need a cord to connect—wirelessly project your IOS or Android smartphone to Yukon via Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto™, accessing your favourite apps right on the vehicle’s Infotainment System display.

POWER SLIDING CENTER CONSOLE

With the push and hold of a button, the main storage console between the driver and front passenger seats slides back up to 254mm (10”). Optimized for functionality, this innovative console helps ensure greater organization. It also features a hidden storage drawer below the main console that can be secured when in Valet mode.

When the console is extended in its rear position, an open rubber-matted space is revealed between the front row seats, for placement of takeout food, a purse or a backpack. When fully extended back, the armrest slides forward for comfort.
