Compared to the Honda CR-V, the Chevrolet Equinox has the same towing capacity and is available as both a front-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive SUV. However, the CR-V has slightly better fuel economy figures and a bit more power while the Equinox has more engine torque. Inside, the Chevrolet Equinox has a larger infotainment touchscreen with standard Apple CarPlay & Android Auto connectivity and more available features such as ventilated front seats, surround view cameras, & Wi-Fi hotspot.

The Chevrolet Equinox faces tougher competition with the Toyota Rav4 because the Rav4 comes with more safety & driver aids as standard. The Rav4 also has similar towing & city fuel economy numbers as the Equinox. But the Equinox has more engine torque for quick and effortless acceleration as well as more interior legroom for passengers.
