While the 1.3L Turbo engine in the Encore GX delivers a healthy amount of power for everyday needs, the 2.5L Turbo engine in the CX-30 is much more powerful with up to 250 hp. However, the Encore GX's engine delivers better fuel economy figures.

An area that the 2022 Buick Encore GX excels in is safety. It has more standard airbags and more standard advanced driver & safety aids than both the Mazda CX-30 & Kia Seltos. It is also the only one to offer a surround view camera system.
