The Blazer nameplate is back. Set to arrive in early 2019, the Chevrolet Blazer will slot in between the Equinox and the Traverse. With its striking styling, the Blazer will easily stand out from all other family crossover SUVs.

Powertrain

In its most basic form, the 2019 Chevrolet Blazer will be offered with Front-wheel-drive. All-wheel-drive is optional across all trim levels but a more advanced AWD system is available on the top RS and Premier trims which features an advanced twin-clutch differential that automatically sends power to the rear wheels.

Engines

Standard – 2.5L 4 cylinder – 193 hp & 188 lb-ft of torque

Optional – 3.6L V6 – 305 hp & 269 lb-ft of torque

A 9-speed automatic transmission is available with either engine. The 2019 Chevy Blazer is capable of towing up to 4,500 lbs.
