Chevrolet Debuts Midnight Special Editions

You’ll soon be able to order special edition Midnight trims of the Chevrolet Impala and Silverado! Both are scheduled to hit dealer lots later this summer or fall and offer buyers a dramatic, head turning styling that will surely be noticed when going down the road.

The Silverado Midnight edition is based on the Z71 platform and offers customers black 18 inch wheels a spray in bed liner and unique Bowtie badges. As you may have guessed, the bumpers, grille, headlamp bezels, mirrors and door handles are also finished in black to give the truck a menacing appearance. Roughly 5000 Midnight special editions will be produced, making them a rare truck. Like the Z71 the Midnights will also feature special off road suspension, locking rear differential, hill descent controls and a trailering package. The special edition trucks add to the Z71 package rear park assist and heated powered adjustable mirrors.

The Impala Midnight special edition also hit lots later this summer or fall and will feature 19 inch machine faced aluminum wheels with black accents, black grille and surround and special black Chevrolet badges and spoiler. Inside the Impala features a Jet Black cabin with sport pedals. This special edition package is available on the 1LT, 2LT and LTZ trims, with either the 2.5L or 3.6L engines. The Impala Midnight special edition is based on the Impala Blackout Concept seen at the 2014 Las Vegas Show.
