2022 CHEVROLET BOLT EV
The 2022 Chevrolet Bolt EV is the first affordable all-electric car to offer up to 417 km of driving range. With its long list of advanced safety features, stand-out looks, and plenty of usable cabin space, the Chevrolet Bolt EV stands out in an ever increasingly crowded EV market.
However, the competitors are catching up to it. So how does the Chevrolet Bolt EV stack up against the Nissan Leaf Plus and Hyundai Kona Electric?
Well in a number of key areas, quite a bit better. It has a larger 66 kWh battery which puts the range to 417km. The Kona Electric & Leaf have 415km & 363km respectively. It is also the fastest to 100 km/h in 6.5 seconds and it uses liquid cooled batteries for better longevity.
But it's not perfect. A lot of the advanced safety & driver aids are not standard like the competitors. As well, it does not have a lot of cargo capacity behind the rear seats; only if you drop them does it have the most.
