Chevrolet Bolt Range

The Chevrolet Bolt EV offers an estimated range of up to 417 km.

In an average daily commute of 60 km, you could get through 3 or 4 days without plugging in. The Bolt EV comes equipped with a 7.2 kW onboard charging module. Charging from a 240-volt 32-amp charging unit provides up to 40 km of range per hour of charge. With the standard 120-volt portable charge cord, up to 6 km of range per hour of charge can be had.

 

Chevrolet Bolt Fast Charging

The DC fast charge allows you to charge your Chevrolet Bolt at publicly available DC fast charge stations. With DC fast charge, the Chevrolet Bolt can travel up to 160 km with just 30 minutes of charging.

 

Chevrolet Bolt Instrumentation

Important information like your battery level, estimated range, charge settings and climate controls is readily available on the standard 260 mm (10.2-in.) diagonal center console colour touch-screen display and a 203 mm (8-in.) diagonal configurable Driver Information Center.

 

Chevrolet Bolt cargo space

Rear seats fold down for up to 1,603 litres of maximum cargo space, which allows easy loading of large or odd-sized items. The battery placed beneath the floor enables a flat storage surface and a very spacious passenger cabin. The rear cargo area features a deep well with a standard false cargo floor for additional storage space.

HD SURROUND VISION

This system provides the driver with an overhead "birds eye" view of the surrounding area on the infotainment screen. It helps the driver avoid nearby objects and park during low speed maneuvering.

FRONT SAFETY

Available Forward Collision Alert and Follow Distance Indicator, Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian Braking, Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning and IntelliBeam automatic high beam on/off.

CHARGING PORT

Make sure the vehicle is parked, then push the rearward edge of the charge port door and release to open the door. In cold conditions, ice may form around the charge port door. Remove ice from the area before attempting to open or close the charge port door. The vehicle cannot be driven while the charge cord is plugged into the vehicle.

 

ELECTRIC DRIVE UNIT

200 hp (150 kW) of motoring power, 266 lb-ft (360 N-m) of motoring torque. 0-96 km/h in 6.5 seconds (based on initial vehicle movement).

 

HD REAR CAMERA

When in reverse, provides the driver of a view of the scene directly behind the vehicle on the Infotainment screen during low-speed maneuvering.

 

SELF-SEALING TIRES

Michelin® Energy® Saver tires with Selfseal® technology offer low rolling resistance and are designed to self-seal in the event of a minor tread puncture such as that made by a nail. The specially engineered 17-in. wheels provide enhanced stiffness to help manage noise and vibration.

 

RADAR SENSORS

Provides side-mirror alerts to help the driver avoid a moving vehicle detected in the side blind zone. Also helps detect a vehicle that is rapidly approaching their side blind zone during a lane change maneuver.

REAR SAFETY

Available Rear Cross Traffic Alert: when in reverse, provides alerts to help drivers avoid approaching detected left or right cross traffic.

Available Rear Park Assist: When driving in reverse below 8 km/h, provides distance-to-object alerts to help the driver park.

Compared to a traditional inside rearview mirror, this inside rearview mirror display provides a wider, less obstructed field of view. Streams high-definition video images through the interior rearview mirror. Reverts to a traditional mirror with auto-dimming feature.

PRECONDITIONING

Start your vehicle remotely and step into a comfortably warmed or cooled vehicle, depending on the weather and your preset preferences. Auto heated steering wheel is standard.

 

AUTOMATIC HEATED SEATS

When the vehicle is on, this feature will automatically activate the heated seats at the level required by the vehicle’s interior temperature. In auto mode, the indicators automatically show the level setting required. The auto heated seats feature can be programmed to always be enabled when the vehicle is on.
