STEERING

Recirculating Ball Steering with smart flow power steering system on Sierra and SLE.Digital Variable Steering Assist on SLT, AT4 and Denali, this system automatically adjusts steering based on speed, road conditions, and other inputs to reduce driver effort and fatigue.

DUAL ALTERNATORS

Available 220 amp and 170 amp dual alternators on both engine options to make it easy to power the accessories you need for commercial applications.

LED RUNNING LIGHTS AND HEADLAMPS

LED reflector (high intensity on SLT/AT4/Denali) headlamps with LED turn signals and LED signature Daytime Running Lamps are standard. LED headlamps, are effective and efficient, require less energy output and are housed in a more narrow space than ever before.

FORWARD PARK ASSIST

When driving below 8 km/h, this feature provides distance-to-object alerts to help you park and avoid nearby detected objects directly ahead of or behind the truck during low-speed maneuvering.

BED VIEW CAMERA

New for the GMC Sierra HD, an available camera integrated into the center high-mounted tail lamp provides owners with a view into their cargo box.

It allows for you to check on items in the box at any time to ensure that your cargo is secure for added peace of mind. The display will timeout after 8 seconds when driving.

DURALIFE ROTORS

Duralife brake rotors feature a hardened surface to reduce corrosion and provide quieter braking with less vibration. The brake system features a corrosion-fighting process called Ferric Nitro-Carburizing (FNC) which can double rotor life expectancy and reduce or minimize rust over non-FNC coated rotors.

Available Heavy-duty dual batteries with 1460 cold-cranking amps : 70 Amp-hr Maintenance-free with rundown protection and retained accessory power.

LANE CHANGE ALERT

The system can help you prevent lane change crashes by providing side-mirror alerts when a moving vehicle is detected rapidly approaching a side blind zone or is in a blind zone.

CORNER STEP BUMPER

In both corners of the rear bumper, large footwells, lined with an anti-slip texture and sized for large work boots, make access to the cargo box easier than ever.

CARGO BOX

The Durabed of the All-New 2022 Sierra HD is the most functional bed in its class. Made with high-strength steel, the bed features 12 standard tie-downs and larger CornerStep rear bumper, and offers available features like LED cargo area lighting, a built-in 120-volt AC outlet and an all-new side BedStep between the cab and the rear wheel.

TOWING CAPABILITIES

Starting with all 2500HD Crew Cab models featuring an impressive maximum available towing capacity of up to 18,500 lb. (8,392 kg) for conventional and fifth-wheel gooseneck trailers.

The maximum gooseneck towing capability increases by up to 52% to a segment-leading available 35,500 lb. (16,103 kg) on 3500 HD.

BOX POWER OUTLET

Visible in the rear passenger side of the truck box you will find an available box power outlet with 400-watt power inverter.

HEAD-UP DISPLAY

The Multi-colour 15” Diagonal Head-Up Display shows key information that sits low on the windshield, allowing the driver to stay informed while still seeing clearly ahead.

REAR CAMERA MIRROR

If equipped, this automatic dimming mirror provides a wide angle camera view of the area behind the vehicle. Streaming option available if some things are loaded in the cargo bed blocking the rear window. Pull the tab to turn on the display. Push the tab to turn it off. When off the mirror is automatic dimming.

Sierra HD models offer the technology you need to stay connected everywhere, from the jobsite to the campsite. With simple, easy-to-use touchscreens, standard Bluetooth®, USB, and Apple CarPlay® & Android Auto™ connectivity, and available built-in 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot (data plan required), OnStar, and Navigation, Sierra HD offers great connectivity in every trim level.

A 20.2L lighted compartment below the armrest with the ability to store hanging file folders.
