2019 Chevrolet Silverado-based Hennessey Goliath 6×6

The 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 is barely in showrooms and yet there’s already development plans for a modified version of it. American tuner Hennessey Performance has recently released images and specs of the upcoming Goliath 6×6 based off the 2019 Chevy Silverado 1500 Trail Boss model.

The Hennessey Goliath gets an 8” lift, 20” wheels with 37-inch BF Goodrich off-road tires, a custom bed mounted roll bar with an LED bar, new front and rear bumpers, and oh yeah… a third axle. Hennessey will add the third axle which includes suspension, brakes, and wheels to make it a 6×6 truck.

But the extra axle and exterior styling pieces are not all that you get. The regular Trail Boss Silverado comes equipped with the 5.3L V8 which is a good engine in its own right. However Hennessey Performance will swap it for the more powerful 6.2L V8 and then slap on a supercharger kit to bring the total power output to 705 hp and 675 lb-ft of torque. Hennessey claims a 0-60 mph (96 km/h) time of 4.5 seconds which interestingly is about half a second slower than the Chevrolet Camaro SS.

The price for the Hennessey Goliath 6×6? A cool $375,000 USD which includes the price of a new 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trail Boss. For a bit more money though, Hennessey says that they’ll up the power to 808 hp and add a Brembo brake package along with a few unique interior styling features. Just 24 of these behemoths will be made worldwide.
